William Arthur Ward said,
"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it."

What would happen if ...

Gratitude became our highest priority, recognizing not only the highest qualities in each other, but intentionally letting others know how we felt?

What would happen if ...

We put down the devices that physically and emotionally separate us and instead, shared our appreciation with others in a deliberate, simple, compassionate, and vulnerable way?

What would happen if ...

We communicated more mindfully — pausing to consider our choice of words, consciously considering what to say and what to avoid saying, spoke from a place of non-violence, rejected mass propaganda and hate speech, listened empathetically to others, carefully selected the digital technologies we used to communicate, intentionally infused cultural, spiritual and research-based insights into our every day language, broke long silences, and avoided the negative self-talk that often keeps us in a perpetual mode of separation from one another?

I believe ...

As we acknowledge the way our lives are intertwined, the vibrational foundations of our relationships will begin to shift.  We will begin to feel more connected, less separate from one another, and our relationships and connections will become stronger.

I believe ...

As our dominant feelings became ones of appreciation, we will become more and more courageous in sharing our gratitude with others. Gratitude will spread.

I believe ...

As our individual characters continue to deepen, so too will our happiness and the happiness of those around us.  The world will become a more peaceful and loving place, driven by the simple act of cultivating and expressing appreciation to one another.
